Quality Contracting is a family owned and operated home improvement contracting company. With over 30 years of experience, we help people build their dream home – from kitchen and bathrooms to full home and apartment renovations.
Mark Roder, President and Contractor, founded Quality Contracting in 1989, and has since successfully completed residential, commercial, and government jobs across the 5 boroughs and Long Island. Now Quality Contracting is primarily focused on Brooklyn brownstones as well as Brooklyn and Manhattan residential projects where Mark is able to use his creativity and experience to actualize clients' visions on time and within their budget.

We can provide designers and architects who can help design your dream home and that work seamlessly with Quality Contracting during the renovation.
PERMITS + FILINGS
We have in house architects that are able self-certify and sign off on your plans which avoids delays and saves you time and money.

I started my first construction company in 1989 when I was just 24 years old. I’ve been in this business most of my life –designing and building dreams and making my clients happy. I know it inside and out, which is how I can guarantee you a quality, timely, and affordable result every time. I only work with my in-house crew, I will not outsource work, and I personally oversee my teams on every project.
I promise to work directly with every client, as customer satisfaction is my priority. Communication is key to that, which is why you’ll have my phone number and email and meet with me at least once a week.
Besides loving my job and my clients, working within budgets and timelines, and creatively finding solutions to make tricky spaces livable and beautiful – I enjoy spending time with my family! I look forward to working with you and creating your dream space.

When a client wanted a certain look but Quality Contracting has concerns about the structural integrity of a long floating bench, we didn’t say “no.” We said “how”. After brainstorming and designing, our team came up with a solution that was both structurally sound and to the client’s aesthetic standards.

During another project, Mark noticed his client’s aging dog was having a difficult time walking. He designed and built a ramp for the furry family member to increase their mobility around the home.
